Let Me Down Hard (2013) Synopsis :

Jack Ainsley was a star, once; a rock star. He had a hit record, a rabid following and money to burn. He also had an ego the size of his tour bus and a soul-crushing temper to match, until one night it all evaporated like the steam coming off a subway grate; right in front his eyes. Now, 15 years later hes back, to the place he couldnt escape from fast enough, and to the tattered remains of the family hed left behind.

In a place that is as much a character in this story as Jack himself, The Jersey Shore; specifically, Asbury Park. Home to Bruce and Southside, and the Pony. A city thats no stranger to the struggles between its own out-sized aspirations and the realities in which it lives. A city of broken dreams and faded glories. A city, unlike Jack himself, now on the verge of rebirth.

Jacks sister Carrie has been holding things together with twine since he left. Their mothers increasing dementia, and her daughters own burgeoning independence threatens to completely extinguish any remnant.......
